Join a Community Group! Open Enrollment Until 11/15

We would love to see every adult at Cornerstone experiencing Christian community and making disciples through a Community Group! While groups are generally open all year round, we want to have a dedicated time each year to help people get plugged in. Open enrollment will continue until Nov 15th. While the main focus is to help people who are not in a CG to find one, it is also a time where existing groups may multiply or people may change groups.

If you would like to join a group, please feel free to talk to a CG leader, sign up at the Welcome Center, see Pastor Warren, or see Katherine Shen for young adult groups. A list of CGs is at the Welcome Center.

Message from P. Joe re Responding to Recent Disasters

Many of you have read about the devastating earthquakes in Mexico City and the Oaxaca region, and the recent hurricanes that have hit Texas, Florida, and the Caribbeans. I encourage you & your family to continue to lift up the victims in prayer, and consider giving to the many disaster relief organizations working in these areas. Among these are Samaritan's Purse, which aids areas affected by Harvey and Irma, and World Vision, which additionally operates in Mexico. In these times, we can meet the world in a powerful and timely way when we demonstrate the gospel of divine relief in action.

    Patrick Yamashita - Sabbatical

Elder Patrick will be on a 1 year sabbatical until mid-September 2018. Please pray for him and his family as he uses this time to take a break from his normal ministry responsibilities and connect with God & his family to refresh his spirit. Any questions regarding Elder needs that he covered can be directed to the other Elders.

Kalos Church Sharing Cornerstone Ministry Center

A new church plant called Kalos Church held their first service on September 17 at the Comedy Club at Lincoln Square. We are supporting this new church by allowing Pastor Pradeepan Jeeva and his wife, Amreitha, to use our library as their office and making our ministry center available for their ministry meetings. If you see them at the ministry center please welcome them and remember to pray for Kalos!
