Career as Missions Talk at David & Rossana Lin’s House— Saturday, 3/24, 1:30-3 p.m.
You are invited to a really interesting talk at my house regarding the latest development in completing the task of the Great Commission via normal working people like you and me. The speakers are themselves pioneers in these areas of the latest buzzwords such as Business As Missions or tentmaking long before these became the fad today. Not only will what they have to share inspire and captivate your imagination, but should open up a new world of possibilities to what you can be doing to fully use your gifts to further God’s Kingdom.
David & Rossana had 10 years of marketplace and family ministries in East Asia. They are back in the US where David continues his IT career as they wait on the Lord for their next assignment.
Frank and Elsie are entrepreneurs who spent 9 years in a Central Asian Muslim country, where they operated two businesses, helped plant a church and raised three children.
Paul & May left their SoCal careers in medicine and business and spent 11 years in Asia to start GLS that has sent 250+ tentmakers and 1,000+ short termers to serve in East and Central Asia.
Rosalie spent 8 years building factories in China and touched the lives of many young engineers. She is now back in the US continuing her engineering career and serving on the GLS board.
See flyer at Welcome Center table on Sunday or see Rossana Lin. Hope to see you there!

Community Groups: All-Church Study!
Our all-church study on compassion begins in mid-February! We look forward to how God will continue to grow our hearts of compassion and how we can express it in ways that bring God glory. Our Community Groups will be going through the book When Helping Hurts (Corbett & Fikkert), using a study guide, videos, and our own supplemental material. We encourage everyone to read the book! We will not be ordering the books for you so either order on your own or coordinate with your CG. And if you haven't joined a group yet, there is still time! Contact P. Warren for more information.
